The HORSE TRIO

Ages: 19, 25, and 29

The three horses joined the Phoenix Circus independently after their family farm failed to yield enough to support their large family for the third year in a row. The eldest two brothers left home to leave more food for the younger siblings who, at ages 9-19 were able-bodied enough to help tend the farm. Grace, the oldest daughter, insisted on going along, lest she was married off (effectively sold in to marriage). Her plan prior to that was joining a temple and serving the rest of her days there. Instead, the three siblings capitalized on their individual talents and formed acts around those. The oldest brother is an animal trainer, the middle brother a recent replacement to Wang's strongman routine, and Grace is a very talented marksman. Notably, the oldest brother has a stutter and is largely silent.
