Though he is not eager to bring it up, Bao was a member of the royal military and discharged in dishonor. Around his neck, he wears a pouch in which he keeps his old uniform. Also, he maintains his sword, though he practices with it strictly in private. Bao and Mochi's affection for one another is no secret, but even more apparent is their constant friction. This hasn't lessened with age or the stress of splintering off to create a smaller branch of their circus family.
