Wow! It’s been a great summer so far this year! We’ve gotten so much rain here in the Midwest that the trees and flowers are absolutely beautiful! Of course, my allergies are out of control, but it’s a trade-off, right? I go a long time between updates here because it simply slips my mind. I know, my own website and I can’t keep it updated :p I’m lame! But I’m still creating art and I update my DA gallery, so for those of you who follow that, you’re the smart ones ^^; I’m going to try and pay more attention to this website rather than just using it to deposit files. We’ll see how well that goes.

I realize I’m about 7 months too late to make a New Year’s resolution, but there you go.

This year I have tables at Anime Nebraskon and Motaku. At Motaku, I’m a featured artist which means there’s loads of my art for their promotional material. Whee~ I do on site commissions there and love to meet fans new and old. I also have prints, keychains, and other assorted stuff ™ for sale. If you’re going to be in the area, please stop by!

For the conventions I’ll be trying to finish a full Ninja Monkey comic for print. I’ll have new prints available and maybe a few postcard-sized portfolios if I have the time. Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? If I was still in school, I’d feel so gypped by this Summer flying by so fast! It’s been good to update. Thanks for stopping by!

New Year’s Post

Wow, I pay attention to every other gallery but this one. Isn’t that awful? I’m paying the most for this one. Anyway, this is a post to say “Happy New Year” and celebrate that I’ll be in San Francisco as part of a free trip from my husband’s company. We’ll be in town just in time to view the Chinese New Year parade. What fun! I hope to have several pictures to share from that.

Ninja Monkey Studios will also be at Naka Kon in Kansas City March 13-15. I won’t have an overwhelming amount of new product, but it’ll feel good to get out into the con scene again and hang out with other artists and otaku XD

I’ll try to update my galleries soon, but in the meantime, if you’re eager for art, please visit my DA gallery and my Livejournal.

Site Re-vamp

September commissions are CLOSED. October commissions will become available at the end of this month. Please watch this page, my LJ, or my DA gallery for the announcement. I will not take commission orders before then.

Also, please be patient while the site is undergoing an overhaul. I’ll be rotating out old art and adding new art when I can. I don’t get much free time in the day, so this may take some time. In the meantime, I’m working on an FFIX yaoi doujinshi featuring the Tantalus crew. Ninja Monkey is slated to be published in time for next year’s Naka-Kon in Kansas City, though it may be available for sale before then. I’ll be sure to keep updated on that.

Life with a toddler keeps me pretty well occupied these days. She’s almost one and a half now and she’s giving us a fine preview of her terrible two’s. When she isn’t being a handful, she’s adorable. I’m glad to spend all the time I can with her.
